Accelerating additive manufacturing innovation
The Additive Manufacturing CRC (AMCRC) is a $57.5 million Commonwealth-backed Cooperative Research Centre accelerating the adoption of additive manufacturing across Australian industry.
We bring together 70+ industry, research and government organisations to unlock the transformative potential of additive manufacturing for Australia’s economic future by driving industry-led research collaboration, creating a future-ready workforce, and enabling Australian manufacturers to innovate, scale, and compete on the global stage.
What we do
Building a world-class additive manufacturing ecosystem
Guided by our bold Australia Makes vision, we bridge the gap between additive manufacturing research, innovation and industry application.
Across our four research programs, we leverage the expertise of our 12 university partners and CSIRO to create pathways to design, develop and commercialise new materials, technologies and processes that address critical industry challenges and accrete the adoption at scale. Through industry-led R&D and education programs we build sovereign capability, strengthens sustainable supply chains and enable high-value manufacturing.
