The focus of the AMCRC is to support the global competitiveness of the Australian Manufacturing Industry. By combining leading research capabilities with key industry knowledge and intellectual property we are working to create intellectual property in next generation technologies, products and processes.

Our approach is to facilitate collaborations and to co-invest with industry and public sector research organisations, to develop new innovative products and processes. The Centre’s research is focused around the major challenges facing Australian manufacturers including the need for more knowledge-intensive, high value, globally competitive and sustainable manufacturing as well as promoting a highly skilled and trained workforce.
