Since being fully operational in June 2008, the Advanced Manufacturing Cooperative Research Centre (AMCRC) has played a vital role in facilitating the transformation and creation of an innovation driven Australian Advanced Manufacturing industry. The centre is backed by $35 million of Commonwealth and $21 million of industry funding. The centre’s value proposition is simple. It co-invests with industry and public sector research organisations in innovation for sustainability.
