Developing pre-emptive technologies for sustainability
The objective of program four is to develop technologies for the global renewable-energy and electric-vehicle industries. The centre is identifying opportunities to pre-empt the market within the area of vehicle and energy sustainability. The AMCRC is actively seeking research and commercial partners with interests in electric vehicle and renewable energy technologies to become involved in this research program.

- Development of a tidal stream generator and in-wheel permanent magnet motor technology for use on solar cars.
